Suitability is determined by the physician. A virtual encounter is not a substitute for a needed examination, access to relevant records or a designated practitioner.

Important limits

• Program rules and appropriate author must be checked.
• May be publicly or third-party funded; do not assume patient-pay.

Coverage and fees

An individual physician-approved quote, only after coverage and payer review.

Check the provincial plan, any employer or insurer payment, program-specific rules and tax treatment. Assessment and documentation must not be double-billed or bundled to conceal insured care.
