Physicians cannot charge for medical-record access, transcription, reproduction or transmission. Other fees require specific RAMQ-status, service, itemized-billing and language review; no Quebec patient-fee schedule is approved here.

Confirm the actual document, insured assessment, public-plan eligibility and any other payer. No patient fee is approved simply by selecting a province.

Physician authority and care

Confirm CMQ authority, patient and physician locations, RAMQ participation and Quebec-specific privacy obligations.

Verify the clinician’s current registration, identity, competence and patient-location rules. Plan for examination, follow-up and local urgent care when needed.

Workplace documentation

Check current CNESST rules before obtaining a short-absence medical certificate. Automated Quebec eligibility determinations are not enabled here.
